Landscape Portraiture

Photography can be an interesting and entertaining hobby. There are many people out there that actually make a very lucrative living this way. There are several types of photography. You can take pictures of people or landscapes, and you can take them with different orientation.

Landscape portraiture is basically more than a picture. There are several factors when trying to obtain this type of photography. It's is important that you have a camera that is capable of more than just point and click. You want to center your camera on one object, a flower for instance, and be able to blur out the surrounding objects in the picture. Landscape portraiture is much easier because you are taking pictures of inanimate objects such as roads and rivers; you don't have to worry about them tensing up like people do.

Another thing you might consider when taking these portraits is the level at which you compared to the level of the object. Take the flower again, for instance, if it's very low to the ground, you might want to lay down and take the picture. In other words, get on its level. If you are taking pictures of a running river, you might consider taking shots from above as well as from a ground view. Some beautiful shots are often developed in black and white for a dramatic effect.

Landscape portraiture can make for very beautiful designs that you can have framed and displayed in your office or home.
